A leading global textile manufacturer with operations spanning 5 countries was struggling with fragmented data systems. Shop floor data was manually entered into spreadsheets before being re-keyed into their ERP, causing delays, errors, and significant labor costs. Serynto was engaged to design and implement a seamless integration between their production systems and Odoo ERP.
THE CHALLENGE
The client's legacy systems operated in silos — production data from weaving machines, dyeing units, and quality control stations were captured on paper or in standalone applications. This resulted in an 8-hour delay in data availability, a 12% error rate in inventory records, and over 200 hours per month spent on manual data entry across their facilities.
OUR SOLUTION
Serynto designed a custom API middleware layer that connected IoT-enabled shop floor sensors directly to Odoo 17. We built real-time data pipelines for production output, quality metrics, and raw material consumption. Custom Odoo modules were developed for textile-specific workflows including batch tracking, shade matching, and fabric grading. The entire system was deployed in phases across all 5 manufacturing sites over 4 months.
